The annual Pink Night at the Proms is returning to Teddington next month and “promises to be better than ever”.

Run by LGBT Equality and Ally groups, the event at Normansfield Theatre on February 24 will feature music from the London Gay Symphonic Winds and celebrate LGBTQ history month.

The event will be hosted by comedian Cally Beaton, winner of New Comedian of the Year 2018 Piccadilly Comedy Club.

All the proceeds will go to Opening Doors, an LGBT charity providing day care for the elderly LGBT community.

Mayor of Richmond, Councillor Lisa Blakemore, who will be attending, said: “This is always an incredibly fun night out for the whole community to enjoy and raises money for a very good cause.

“It will be very popular so book early to avoid missing out and don’t forget to bring your flags.”

The night kicks off at 7.30pm and is free but booking is essential.
