Fans of sixties rock and roll giants The Beatles and The Kinks are in for a treat this autumn.

Renowned covers band The 60s AllStars are back at One Kew Road in Richmond, on November 5.

Featuring Mick Avory from The Kinks, the band will be playing 60s hits just as they were fifty years ago.

Completing the line-up are John Dee from The Foundations, Alan Lovell from the Swinging Blue Jeans and Del Mendel who played with George Harrison.

Bowie fans can also celebrate as on Sunday November 12 ‘The World’s Greatest Bowie Show’ comes to One Kew Road. The gig will feature Bowie's biographer and acclaimed music journalist Lesley-Ann Jones hosting a book-signing and Q&A.

Previously the Station Hotel, One Kew Road was the home to the original Crawdaddy Club where in 1963 The Rolling Stones played the first night of a four-month residency - to an audience of three.

Less than two months later, The Beatles came to watch them perform at the club before signing for Decca Records there in May.

Before them, on October 20, Barnes Rock celebrates its 10th anniversary at London Welsh Rugby Club, with another show by The 60s AllStars.

For the anniversary special, legendary disc jockey Pete Murray will introduce and interview the musicians while support comes from D'Artagnan. Barnes Rock's 10th anniversary show cost £15 before October 17 and £20 after at barnesrock.co.uk
