The annual Richmond May Ball this year raised £30,000 for a charity that helps ex-Service men and women with disabilities into meaningful work across the UK.
The money will go towards funding the bespoke work staff at the The Poppy Factory to ensure veterans find the job that suits them.
Chief Executive of The Poppy Factory Deirdre Mills said: "we are extremely grateful for the generous cheque of £30,000 from the May Ball."
"This money will go a long way to helping veterans with a physical or mental health condition find fulfilling work.”
The May Ball also raised £30,000 for React, a charity in Kew that helps children with life-limiting illnesses. React works to give children comfort, dignity and where possible, greater independence.
