Don’t miss having your say on how areas in Twickenham are going to look after proposed future developments.

A second opportunity opened on June 16 for residents to view revised ideas for maintaining and enhancing the conservation areas of Twickenham and Strawberry Hill.

The online consultation follows a survey, question time, drop in and walkabout event earlier this year, which gave the public a chance to have their initial input.

Pamela Fleming, Richmond Councillor for Environment, said: “Village planning provides residents and businesses with an opportunity to identify the vision for their area.

"It also is an opportunity to discuss local issues and find potential solutions that the council and the community can do together.

After gathering feedback from the first set of public consultations, the council have drafted supplementary planning documents with visions for the area and planning guidance.

“These can be used by residents, businesses and developers to re-affirm the style and character of the area and once adopted will be considered in determining planning applications,” added Cllr Fleming.

"There are a number of council consultations this summer for residents in Twickenham and Strawberry Hill – including the proposals for the future of Twickenham Riverside and parking studies in Strawberry Hill.”

Residents and local businesses have until July 28 to give further feedback and are encouraged to attended a drop-in session to discuss further with council officers.
