The Richmond Full of Life Fair is returning for its fifth year on Friday, October 7.

This year’s celebration of the contribution of the senior residents is going to be larger than ever, taking place in the Rose Suite at the Twickenham Stadium.

The fair, set to be host to over 75 stalls, aims both to promote healthy and independent living and enhance digital skills.

Organisations such as Age UK Richmond upon Thames, Richmond Theatre and TechSilver will be visiting.

Residents will have the opportunities to seek advice throughout the day, engage in activities like singing and dancing and attend talks on a range of topics from digital devices to cookery.

The fair represents the continued and concerted effort of the Richmond Council to support its senior residents.

Cllr David Marlow, Richmond Cabinet Member for Adult Services and Health, said that “Richmond is proud to do more for its older population than any other London Borough.”

Furthermore, with solitude amongst seniors becoming a growing problem throughout the UK, Cllr Marlow emphasised that “Tackling loneliness and isolation is one of the key priorities and the Full of Life Fair is a prime example of the Council’s work in this area.”

The fair is free for any residents over 55.
