A convicted rapist due to be sentenced for a breach of sex offenders register requirements has ‘refused to leave prison' to travel to court today.

Aaron Pescud, 33, was jailed for five years in December 2014 after indecently assaulting two young girls, who were between four and ten years old at the time of the offences – between 1992 and 2001.

Pescud, formerly of High Street, Whitton, was between the ages of 11 and 18 when he committed the offences, making him 10 years older than his youngest victim.

He is currently serving that sentence in prison.

Kingston Crown Court confirmed Pescud ‘refused to leave prison’ and attend his sentencing, due to happen at 2pm on Friday, August 19.

The Crown Prosecution Service confirmed Pescud was being sentenced for ‘failure to comply with sex offenders register requirements’.

The sentencing for his current conviction was adjourned in October 2014 after Pescud told a court officer he had taken 12 tablets and they had half an hour to get him an ambulance.

As he was led down to the cells, Pescud also ripped his electronic tag from his leg.

He was sentenced in December 2014.

Pescud is due for sentencing at Kingston Crown Court on September 2.

Previously Pescud was sentenced to eight years in prison after being found guilty of two charges of rape in 2003.
