A fire broke out on a 50-tonne barge in Barnes on Sunday as nine people had to be rescued by the RNLI.
Emergency services were called to the Terrace, adjacent to Barnes Bridge railway station just before 5pm on Sunday, and London Fire Brigade (LFB) said the blaze was under control by 6.20pm.
RNLI rescuers led seven adults and two children to safety, and there were no injuries reported.
The fire started in the boat’s engine room, LFB said.
