A motorcyclist was killed in a crash this morning in Thames Ditton.
The man, in his 50s, was pronounced dead in Hampton Court Way by paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service just after 6am.
The road remains closed while "specialist investigators carry out an examination of the scene", according to a Surrey Police spokeswoman, and is likely to reopen at about 10am.
The man's family have been told.

Surrey Police initially reported that a car was involved but it has now been established that this was not the case.
