The basement of a Chinese restaurant in Twickenham was left in 30cm of water on Sunday night after a water main burst.
Fire crews were called to the St Margaret's restaurant around 9.30pm on Sunday.
A crew member from Twickenham fire station said: "It was quite bad for them, there wasn't much we could do.
"Thames Water had to come out to dig up the road and repair the main."
There were no injuries caused by the main bursting.
