Richmond’s mayor paid a visit to the borough’s poppy factory to learn more about the charity’s work in helping disabled veterans across the country.
For more than 90 years Richmond’s Poppy Factory has made poppies, crosses and wreaths for the Royal Family and the Royal British Legion’s poppy appeal and Councillor Martin Seymour said the tour was thoroughly engaging.
He said: "The factory has transformed itself in recent years into a thoroughly modern charity. I’d like to thank the organisers for the tour and wish them the best of luck for the future."
