Punters will be chasing their pot of gold at Kempton Park racecourse next week, with Rollercoaster taking the stage on Irish Night.

Traditional tunes will fill the sky after an evening of racing, including the Fields of Athenry and Whiskey in the Jar. Original band members Alistair Cowan and Chris Hughes will be joined on stage by guitarist Rob Blackham and guest fiddlers.

London Irish rugby players will add even more to the craic, running a GAP power pass challenge and help with trophy presentations.

A spokesman for the racecourse says: "Kempton Park has a wide choice of eating and drinking venues on site to make Irish Night a one stop location for a great night out.

"Enjoy the convenience and choice in the newly refurbished ground floor of the Grandstand, offering a selection of popular food and drink, or dine in style in the stunning Panoramic bar and restaurant with a view over the racecourse and a special Irish themed menu for the evening.

"With an evening of action packed racing on the track followed by some feel good entertainment on the stage, Irish Night at Kempton Park will be a night out that you and your friends will not want to miss."
