Dogs, folk music and inflatables were order of the day as the crowds came out in force at Kew Green.
The sixth annual fete was held on June 20 and thousands turned out to enjoy a day in the sunshine.
As well as the wide range of music being performed on stage, such as Rock Choir as well as a Afro-Brazilian drumming band, people also took part in a tug-of-war contest.
But, as with most fetes of this kind, the most eagerly anticipated event of the day proved to be the hugely popular dog show.
Best in show went to Sid, a bassett hound, who also won best old dog after winning over Channel 4 news anchor Krishnan Guru-Murphy.
Chairman of the Kew Midsummer Fete committee Michael Glazebrook said: “Everyone had a fantastic day, helping us raise as much as possible for local charities.
“Yet again the fete brought together sponsorship and support from the local community and beyond.”
