A group of friends have gone from roofers to rock stars after securing a headline spot in a Los Angeles nightclub and having their music chosen for Sky Sports’ darts coverage.

Laburnum, made up of roofers Ad Edwards, Ashley Edwards and Alex Combe, who is from Richmond, recently flew to Los Angeles to play at the Hollywood Sound Studios and was invited to play at Whisky A Go Go, where they will return on June 20.

The group, which formed in January, also landed a five-year licensing agreement with BSkyB, who played their single Magical Place at WDC World Darts Championship on Sky Sports.
