A prolific shoplifter who stole a £500 blender and bottles of vodka and brandy from shops in Richmond has been handed a 12-month community order.
Paul Edwards, 49, of Upper Richmond Road West, stole the blender from Whole Foods Market in Lower George Street on February 28 and £170 of vodka and Courvoisier brandy from Sheen Road’s Waitrose on March 16.
He was sentenced on May 19 to the community order and a six-month drugs rehabilitative requirement, and ordered to pay £112 compensation to Waitrose and £649 to Whole Foods.
