A charity has been give £6,000 from a school to help with riding sessions for special needs children.
The Horse Rangers Association at Hampton Court was picked by Tommy Offer and Catrin Mills, head boy and girl at Newland House School in Twickenham, nominated for its work in the community.
Colonel Geoffrey Godbold OBE, director at the Horse Rangers Association, said the funds would be used to provide equipment to support the riding for the Disabled programme.
He said: “I must say I was speechless when I saw the amount as I had assumed that it would be for a few hundred pounds not this amazing amount.”
