An off-duty anaesthetist saved the life of a cyclist who was hit by a car and stopped breathing.
The male rider, believed to be in his 30s, was involved in a collision at the junction of Barnes High Street and Church Road at about 6.30pm on Saturday, April 11.
An ambulance, fast response paramedic and London's Air Ambulance were sent to the scene and CPR was administered by an off duty anaesthetist.
Chris Hawkswell, tactical adviser at London Ambulance Service, said: "The patient started breathing after CPR was given, good work by the off duty anaesthetist who helped to save his life."
The cyclist was taken to a major trauma centre for further treatment.
