A business development director from Twickenham could represent Britain in Donald Trump's renowned Miss Universe pageant.

Charlotte Giles, 24, works at her mother's celebrity make-up clinic in Knightsbridge and is one of 40 women to compete for a place.

She will find out at the Miss Universe Great Britain 2015 final in Cardiff this June, taking part in a series of fundraising activities for charity Strongbones.

Ms Giles: "I am really excited to have been chosen as a finalist for Miss Universe Great Britain this year and will be doing all that I can in the next few months to prepare.

"Miss Universe is one of the biggest pageants in the world and I think it’s going to be a huge adventure as well as a lot of fun."
