Rolling Stones legend Mick Jagger called his ex-wife "wonderfully scary" as he described her performance in this year's Richmond Theatre Christmas panto.

The musician watched actress Jerry Hall take on the role of Snow White's evil stepmother along with family at the theatre last night.

After the show he said: "It was great, she was wonderfully scary."

Jerry Hall, dressed in a stunning black sequinned dress at the show's drinks reception was given a round of applause for her third outing at the theatre.

She told the Richmond and Twickenham Times: "I love this theatre. It was such great fun, I had all my family and friends here tonight so it was great."

She admitted her favourite part of the show was when she convinced Snow White to have a bite of the poisonous apple.

Ms Hall said: "All the kids are screaming - it was adorable."
