A partially naked man has been seen driving near to three schools in Hampton.

The man, in a blue or silver vehicle, was seen acting suspiciously in the vicinity of Dean Road at about 3.25pm on Monday, November 3.

Members of the public reported to police that the man had the lower half of his body exposed while sitting in his car.

Two weeks later, at about 4.10pm on Tuesday, November 18, a woman was walking in Hanworth Road when she saw a man in a silver vehicle slowing down and driving close to her while using a mobile phone.

The woman turned to walk the opposite way and as she did so, the vehicle began reversing so she ran away.

Police believe the suspect in both incidents is the same man, but on the second occassion, he was not naked from the waist down.

He is white, between 25 to 32 years old and has short brown hair.

There is no further description of the car other than its blue or silver colour.

Trainee Detective Constable Alex Staggs of Richmond CID said: "We are appealing for witnesses who may have seen this man to call us, and we also want to hear from anyone who has information that will help us find him."

Anyone able to assist the investigation should call 020 8721 5932 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
