Fresh from the Royal Albert Hall stage, vocalist Jo Harman returns to Richmond's Crawdaddy Club.

The singer enjoyed her 2013 show at the venue so much that this time around, she brings with her a special band of friends known as the Southern Soul Collection.

The all-star line-up features musicians who have played and recorded alongside the likes of Joe Cocker, Beyonce and Lionel Ritchie.

Harman says: "We performed at the Crawdaddy Club last year and it is really good fun.

"We had a few special guests there and it was a lovely evening.

"This show is going to be a bit different from my other shows. We will have more special guests so it is going to be an interesting night.

"It is a bit different to what I usually do and we will do some more songs from other bands."

Harman is regarded as one of the best soul-blues singers in Europe and it will be yet another hotly-anticipated performance in Richmond this time around.

She says: "In the last 12 months, we have been touring a lot and going to Europe a lot. We have played all over the UK as well as in Europe and I have been putting my album together.

"We’re been really lucky and had a great response to the first album.

"I am going to do what I did on the first album and be natural and be me."

She admits her live show has moved on a bit since the last time she performed at the Crawdaddy Club.

She says: "The songs are different and there is going to be a lot in there which is different from what I normally do - there are a lot of covers and a lot of soul and blues covers.

"Every artist wants to immerse themselves in different ways so it is nice to break away from the norm."
