Plans for the first borough-wide music and drama festival are well under way, with more than 60 organisations declaring an interest.
The festival, due to be held between September 28 and October 18 next year, will run alongside the Rugby World Cup in Twickenham.
Initial ideas include live music from the Eel Pie Club, Fusion Dance and Drama and performances from the the BYT Experimental Theatre Group.
Richmond Council cabinet member for culture Councillor Meena Bond said: "It’s going to be a big year for the borough next year when the Rugby World Cup comes to Twickenham.
"So what better way is there to celebrate such a monumental occasion than with a music and drama festival?"
Plans are already in the pipeline for the 2016 festival which will take place from March 1 to March 20. To be involved in the 2015 or 2016 festival email artsinfo@richmond.gov.uk or call 020 8831 6000.
