A pharmacy worker is shaving her head in a Teddington salon this Saturday to raise money for a charity that provides wigs for young cancer sufferers.
Sim Tannk, 27, is donating her own hair to the Little Princess Trust, and has already raised £1,200 for the cause, far surpassing her original £500 target.
Ms Tannk said she was not worried about the extreme haircut, which she will have in Teddington’s Super Style.
She said: "I’m OK about it and am looking forward to it in a weird way. It’s something I just wanted to do.
"I’m so pleased to have more than doubled my target, and it’s such an amazing cause."
