It was cake and coffee all round at schools in the borough last week.
Special coffee mornings were held at Lady Eleanor Holles School and Orleans Park School on Friday, September 26, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
While the totals raised are still being added up, Lady Eleanor Holles' junior department hoped to exceed the £500 raised at last year's event.
Tea, cakes and biscuits proved to be a huge hit at Orleans Park School, with £170 raised for charity in just 20 minutes.
