A teacher who used to work at Chancellor George Osborne's former school is to stand trial for making indecent photographs of children.
Anthony Fuggle, 57, of Sandy Lane in Sutton, faces two counts of making indecent images of a child and one count of making indecent photographs of children after being arrested as part of an investigation into historic abuse at St Paul's School in Lonsdale Road Barnes and its prep Colet Court.
The private school, established in 1509, came under investigation as part of Operation Winthorpe after a number of pupils who attended between the 1960s and 1980s were said to have come forward with information.
Mr Fuggle, who used to teach classics at Colet Court until stepping down after the allegations came to light, is due to stand trail on May 5 2015 following the plea and case management hearing at Kingston Crown Court on September 17.
He denies the charges.
