A peahen has ruffled a few feathers in Twickenham this week after being spotted roaming around the town.
She was seen in Morley Road yesterday afternoon by Jonathan Crofts and Natalie Graham.
He said he attempted it to lead it back towards the safety of the riverside but it hopped on to a garage roof where it threatened a cat.
Mr Crofts contacted the RSPCA but was told they only respond to injured wildlife at risk near roads.
The peahen would seem to be relatively streetwise and turned up in Marble Hill Gardens this morning.
Jo Bond posted a picture and tweeted: "Found this in Marble Hill Gardens, anyone missing a peahen..?!"
