Vet Zeta Frasca, owner of Kitten to Cat in Sandycombe Road, Kew, and her husband spent the day making Frosty the Snow Cat.
Zeta explained: "Towards the end of the day he had a little accident as the extra snow fall was too heavy and his head fell off, so he was fitted with a buster collar and given some special diet food and a mouse to play with.
"Frosty is now in a serious but stable condition and with current weather conditions looks like he should make it through the night."
