A 20-year-old woman was punched in the head during an attack in Chiswick before muggers made off with her iPod and mobile phone.

The victim, who was a white woman, was attacked from behind as she walked down Wavendon Avenue at 12:30am on Thursday, September 7.

She was pushed to the floor by a group of suspects who made off with a handbag containing her phone and iPod, worth around £220.

The suspects were seen running off in the direction of Sutton Court Road.

One of the suspects was described as a black female, aged about 18, 5ft 8in, wearing a black hooded top with long hair bunched in a ponytail.

The victim did not want any medical aid. Her bag was later found abandoned in Sutton Court Road.
