Four Somalian males in their twenties were attacked on Saturday, November 24, outside a Hounslow pub.

A dispute occurred at 12.20am outside Yate's Wine Lodge, Bath Road, between the Somalians and a larger group of Eastern European males which escalated into an attack. One of the victims sustained head injuries, and another was stabbed in the face. One man was taken to West Middlesex hospital but later released.

According pub staff, the Eastern European males had been trying to get into Yates. The attack took place shortly afterwards.

Detective Inspector Jeff Minns said: "Five suspects have been arrested, and following CCTV and witness appeal, there will be more arrested. Anyone with information, or who saw what happened, please call us. This was a nasty attack, and someone could have been killed."
