A Feltham man was among five people arrested last week under European warrants for charges relating to theft, robbery and carrying weapons and ammunition.
Khalid Abbassi, 32, of Burns Avenue in Feltham, was arrested at his home, taken into custody and appeared at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court on Friday August 10.
The warrants for the arrests of Abbassi and the others (Usman Malik, 30, from Harrow; Nahid Mukhtar, 29, from Slough; Jasbir Singh Dhillon, 40, and Aqiq Aqram Khan, 31, both from Southall) were issued under the Extradition Act 2003 following a joint investigation by the Dutch authorities and the Met's Operation Grafton.
The warrants alleged personal liability, theft and poaching and carrying weapons and ammunition.
They relate to a robbery of 3,000 mobile phones (valued at £900,000) from three lorries near the Belgium town of Ghent on November 1 last year.
All five men will appear at City of Westminster Magistrates again on August 21 when their extradition cases will be heard.
