AN 18-year-old girl was pinned to the floor by a youth who laughed and said she was weak, in an incident in Twickenham last week.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnesses the incident which took place on August 18 at 11.30pm, as she waited for a bus stop near Starbucks on King Street. She noticed a group of five men leaning against the shop windows. One of the men then grabbed her and dragged her down the street towards McDonalds. She desperately struggled but was unable to break free.

He stopped directly outside McDonalds and took her packet of cigarettes and phone out of her hand, laughed and said that the phone was not worth taking. He then pushed her to the ground and pinned her down, then knelt on her, digging his knees into her hips, as she struggled to get free.

By this time he was laughing hysterically at her, saying she was weak and acting as if it were a big joke in front of his friends. He got off her, and walked away to his group of friends, then towards the train station.

The man is described as black, 18-22 years old, 6ft tall of slim build. He had short black afro hair, slightly longer on the top, with two diamond studs in the right ear. H0r also had a chunky gold neck chain and was wearing dark coloured jogging bottoms or jeans.
