RESIDENTS of a Richmond road are living in fear after animal rights activists daubed graffiti on the front of a block of flats this week.

'Puppy killer' was spray painted on the entrance to a mansion block in Onslow Avenue. It is believed that a former resident of the block used to be connected with animal experiments company Huntingdon Life Sciences, but he no longer lives there.

The graffiti was first noticed on Thursday morning and neighbours are now concerned that their property might be targeted next.

One resident, who refused to be named, said: "We're worried we'll get branded by association. These people are not really fussed whether their target actually lives there. I've got a young family and my children will see this on the way to school."
