A local theatre school put on a gala performance to raise money for breast cancer charity Coppafeel.

All the Arts Theatre School with branches in New Eltham, Bexley & Mottingham,put on productions of Frozen and Grease starring local children and teenagers ages three to eighteen years.

School Principal Lucy Morgans said ' One of our brilliant teachers, Joanna Forrest recently organised a concert at The Palace Theatre in London starring a host of singers including Paul Potts, Joe Mcelderry and Kingsland RoadJ to raise money for the cause and invited our pupils to watch as VIP guests. To return the favour we decided to stage our own performance locally in order to raise even more money and make Joanna a VIP'

Coppafeel is a breast cancer charity aimed at teenagers to raise awareness of the importance of checking themselves regularly.Professional singer Joanna is an ambassador for the charity and works alongside a host of women who organise talks and events to help raise awareness.
