Brentford's Marcus Akin may make BB history

Scowling Brentford Big Brother star Marcus Akin could be one of final stars to come out of the programme as bosses made the biggest eviction ever -axing the show itself.

TV executives announced the reality show will only run for one more full series before it is scrapped from screens.

Dire ratings, dull housemates and viewers bored of the same format were among the reasons to cut Endemol’s flagship show.

Self confessed irrepressible dark horse (IDH) Marcus faces the public vote tonight with former love rival and long haired chum Siavash.

Ratings in this series have been the worst yet, with just 1.4 million people tuning in to watch mullet chops Marcus and housemates.

Hairy housemate Marcus has faced the public vote a whopping four times and despite begging to be given the BB boot die hard fans are keen to keep their mane man in.

The Hounslow and Brentford Times revealed how Marcus’ friends have long stopped appealing for their long haired pal to stay in the show after catching him looking glum but fans claim the 35-year-old puddle drinking carpenter could save the rocky ratings if he stays.

Some IDH fans are even claiming BB is deliberately keeping Marcus’ most interesting bits off the show in a bid to turn viewers off the Brentford star.

Fan Scarletta Strange said: “All Big Brother focus on is Sophie and Siavash pathetically fake flirting, while in the pool was Marcus, Rod and Charlie talking laughing. But when the cameras went out there and surprise surprise the sound goes off. The irrepressible dark horse must stay or its going to be be a dull watch from my point of view.”

And it seems Brentford’s tattooed star might have even predicted the show’s demise, saying: “This has got to be the shittiest Big Brother ever.”
