Friends of hairy BB housemate Marcus Akin today said they wanted their pal to get the boot.

Mullet-loving Marcus faces the public vote with partner in crime, posh toff Freddie, and the window fitter said he wanted the public to vote him out as he is bored.

Usually pals of nominated housemates try and drum up support for their mate when they face eviction but best friend Helen Green said this week their will be no appeal to save the man who calls himself the "Irrepressible Dark Horse". Ms Green said: “I won't make a plea for him this week on Big Brother’s Little Brother (BBLB) and definitely won't slate Freddie. I'll just thank viewers for their backing and encourage folk to get behind Freddie and Siavash.

“We're all expecting Marcus to go and he really wants to leave this time. He's completely bored. He's just not the sort of person who's happy to sit around and do nothing.”

Ms Green, who has known Marcus for five years, exclusively revealed to the Hounslow and Brentford Times that she recorded a message last week to be beamed into the house to cheer the Brentford bad boy up.

She said: “After BBLB they took us all individually into the actual diary room to do one final take.

"It was flipping awesome.

"He spoke to me in the same tone he uses on the housemates, very funny.

“I made myself a crappy 'M' Team Marcus t-shirt with some masking tape. Really shoddy but quite funny, doubt he'll see it though. I ended up just passing on messages from a handful of friends as I was only allowed 30 seconds and it was really chaotic.”

But Marcus could miss out on seeing the message if he is evicted.

Freddie, 24, has already survived a record number of eviction votes so far, but he has seen his popularity wane in recent days.

According to the bookies glamour girl Sophie Reade is now the favourite to win the series over Freddie.

Our reporter has got exclusive backstage tickets to see who goes on Friday. Send us your BB messages just in case our Brentford boy comes out at rttimes.co.uk/bigbrother or call our newsroom on 020 8744 4274.
