The African man who fell from a plane and landed on a residential street in East Sheen could have been from Angola, police say.

The man, who has not yet been identified, was found with Angolan currency in his possession.

A postmortem examination of the man was carried out yesterday, which concluded he died of multiple injuries.

An inquest into the man’s death has been opened and adjourned and police are appealing for anyone can assist them in identifying him.
