An out of control bonfire had to be put out by firefighters in the early hours of this morning.

The blaze in the back garden of a house in Dutch Gardens, Kingston, was reported by neighbours at about 3.45am.

Kingston fire station sent one pump and four firefighters to put out the fire and reported no one had been injured.

Firefighters were unable to contact the owners of the house but accessed the property's grounds through a neighbouring garden.
