A drama club has appealed for budding thespians to come forward and join in the fun at its workshops.
Performers from Drama Nights meet every Monday at the Orange Tree pub, opposite the Orange Tree Theatre in Kew Road, Richmond.
Members enjoy a lively mix of theatre games, improvisation and performance, ending with a sociable drink in the bar.
They have enjoyed success at the Bath Fringe Festival and have already been planning a festive performance to raise money for charity this Christmas.
The adult drama club, which also attends specialist workshops, shows and suppers, will start a new morning class this month.
Jill Hannah, of Richmond Drama Nights, says: “I love being a member of Drama Nights. I have met so many lovely new friends, the social life is great and it’s fantastic when we perform around the country.”
The club says its classes enable even the most timid members to give drama a go and realise their dreams of treading the boards, giving them extra confidence for their life and workplace.
