Twenty firefighters tackled a blaze in a detached house before it managed to spread.
Four fire engines rushed to the home in Queen’s Road, Richmond, at about 8am on Friday, August 24, and managed to bring the flames under control within half an hour.
London Fire Brigade (LFB) said luckily nobody was hurt, but the fire damaged part of the ground floor of the two-storey house, which the occupants had been renovating.
Four fire engines from Richmond, Twickenham, Kingston, and Heston fire stations attended the blaze.
LFB said it was investigating the cause.
