Children in Barnes are putting on a performance of the Wizard of Oz at the Methodist church hall.
About 30 four to eight year-olds will re-enact the Frank L Baum classic tale after a week of workshops with drama group Perform.
The children have been practising for the past week and family and friends will attend their final performance on Friday at the hall in Station Road.
Producer Emily Tomlins, 23, has been helping the children at the daily two-hour workshops, teaching them their lines and songs from the story.
She says: “They are all really enthusiastic and have been getting on really well.”
During the sessions, the children play games, dance, sing and act in preparation for their final performance.
Miss Tomlins says: “The children are having lots of fun learning the lines and they are very excitable.”
Perform offers drama workshops during summer, Easter and Christmas holidays and children are taught to act out favourites such as Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland.
