Traders have been showing off their floral displays after winning two Richmond in Bloom awards.
Hampton Village Traders’ Association picked up top prizes in two diamond jubilee shopping parade categories.
The shops all had hanging baskets outside and held a sunflower competition, including awards for the biggest, widest, most original name and best decorated pot.
Michael Badgery, chairman of the Hampton Village Traders’ Association, said: “We are delighted that an association that was formed only two years ago has really got behind this competition and made it work for the village.
“We hope that all the residents will continue to be impressed by our efforts and continue to use all the shops, restaurants and pubs that we have here.”
The association will pick up its total prize money of £1,000 during a ceremony in York House, Twickenham, on October 2.
