Olympic reporter Mark Chandler has some handy travel advice to people heading to the park:
The Central Line was a nightmare this morning, with a broken down train meaning most services only went as far as Liverpool Street rather than taking people to Stratford.
With hundreds of fans trying to get on the crowded Jubilee Line instead, a better idea in future situations would be to try and pick up the DLR to get to the Olympic Park and other venues.
Though the service is more infrequent, I travelled on the DLR this morning and there were seats aplenty.
