This hubble, bubble, boil and trouble trio of 10-year-olds put on a spellbinding performance in their school production of Macbeth recently.
Year 5 pupils Holly Blake, Ella Jarvis and Millie Gregson, from Archdeacon Cambridge’s Church of England Primary School performed the Shakespeare play at the school’s outdoor amphitheatre, complete with a cauldron that emitted smoke and mist.
Year 6 pupil Ben Fosker, 11, played Macbeth having learned all the original Shakespearean lines and even helped other actors with theirs.
Deputy headteacher Etain Gibson said: “The audience was spellbound.”
