The Honey Monster joined 1,000 sick, disabled and disadvantaged children at a parade hosted by the Royal Military School of Music and supported by children’s charity Variety.
In its sixth year, the parade at Kneller Hall, Whitton, featured a variety of music around the theme “A young person’s guide to military bands”, as part of Variety’s At Work scheme.
Keith Andrews, Variety’s chief barker, said: “For many children and young people, there are few chances to discover what fun the world can be, and how many possibilities it can offer, and we are extremely grateful to The RMSM for giving the children we support such a unique opportunity.”
To date, Variety has provided more than 600,000 children throughout the country with unforgettable days out and raised more than £200m for good causes.
