A new parent support drop-in group, run by the National Childbirth Trust, is launching in Barnes.

Community group Barnes bumps and babies officially launches on Tuesday, June 26, and will run every Tuesday thereafter between 1pm and 3pm at the old sorting office in Station Road.

Parenting charity NCT hopes the new sessions will offer a place for parents and expectant parents to meet and share advice. Free baby massages and Fisher Price toys are being offered at the launch while stocks last.

Parent support co-ordinator Sarah Gladwin said: “It is essential parents can meet to share support and friendship, regardless of circumstances, and that’s what this group aims to do.”

Admission will be £1 each week. For details, visit nct.org.uk/branches/richmond/events/barnes-bumps-babies or email events_richmondnct@hotmail.co.uk.
