TOP breakfast DJ Dave Berry is onto a winner in his new role - for League One champs Charlton Athletic.
Avid Addicks fan Mr Berry, who is now taking on the Capital FM breakfast show, has agreed to become youth services ambassador for Charlton's Community Trust.
The cheeky Charlton-born radio host will support a new youth services programme in the hope of getting younger people more active and involved with programmes in Greenwich.
They include activities in music and performing arts, sport, health, digital media, volunteering, and local history.
He said: "Having been born in this part of London, I’ve spent a lot of time in and around the community.
"I’m a huge Charlton Athletic fan so when I was approached by the trust I was more than happy to offer my support – I’m determined to help the club make this worthy project a success."
