A company that competed in last year’s Great River Race for Help a Capital Child has chosen the group as its 2012 charity of the year.
Team Apogee, from Apogee Corporation, took part in the race on Saturday, September 17, and raised £18,000 for the Capital FM-led charity, which helps disadvantaged children from London.
The charity attended Apogee's Expo, Action with Vision, at the Four Seasons hotel this week, where Michael Portillo and Capital FM presenter Roberto launched the partnership.
