Music lovers will be pleased to hear tickets for Hampton Court’s 20th Anniversary Festival are now officially on sale.
The celebrations in June have something for everyone, with artists from the rock, pop, jazz and classical world all set to perform to audiences of up to 3,000 keen festival-goers.
Historic Royal Palaces and PWR Events proudly announced the first artists booked perform at the festival, who include Katie Melua, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and Jools Holland and His Rhythm and Blues Orchestra.
Previous performers at the festival include Elton John, Eric Clapton and Andrea Bocelli.
Jamie Well, director of PWR Events, said: “It’s fantastic to celebrate this major milestone for Hampton Court Palace Festival and a particular privilege to be hosting a festival in a Historic Royal Palace in the Queen’s diamond jubilee year.”
Legendary Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons will perform their first concert in the UK for 18 years at Hampton Court Palace Festival, and will give fans the chance to hear many of their classic songs played live.
Along with other artists, they will perform in the open-air courtyard of the Tudor palace between June 13 and 24 2012 at 9pm.
Jools Holland will play on June 15, Katie Melua on June 22, and Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons on June 23. Ticket prices range between £37.50 and £75.
Corporate hospitality is available in the state apartments and festival-goers can also arrive early and enjoy a picnic in the Palace gardens, courtesy of Jamie Oliver’s Fabulous Feasts.
