Commuters faced delays this morning following an accident at Mortlake railway crossing.
Trains were brought to a standstill after British Transport Police (BTP) were called to reports of a vehicle colliding with the level crossing in Sheen Lane.
A BTP spokesman said: “British Transport Police are investigating a report of a vehicle colliding with the level crossing barrier on Sheen Lane, Mortlake on Wednesday, November 9.
“The incident was reported at 8.24am.
“Officers are currently investigating the circumstances, speaking to witnesses and are appealing for anyone with information to contact police.”
