A 75-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting an eight-year-old boy in Bushy Park has appeared in court.
Edward Prior, Fulwell Road, Teddington, is said to have touched the child at Dukes Passage gate on Monday, September 5.
He appeared at Richmond Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, September 14, charged with one count of assaulting a boy by touching and one count of breaching a sexual offences prevention order, which Kingston Crown Court imposed on July 24, 2009.
Magistrates remanded Mr Prior in custody and he is due to return to the court on Thursday, September 22.
