Sainsbury’s will help to raise funds for sick children and their families to go on much-needed holidays.
The Richmond branch has chosen React as its new charity partner, after the store asked customers which charity they should support.
Nominations poured in and React, a charity that aims to improve the quality of life for children with life-limiting illnesses, was selected.
For the next year, the charity will benefit from money donated through fundraising as well as volunteering.
Scott Porteous, manager of Sainsbury’s, Richmond, said: “We aim to help raise funds to enable React to send eight families on holiday here in the UK.”
